Our tenth meeting

Another afternoon of fabulous music was enjoyed by all at our October meeting. Our special guests were visiting Ipswich band The Miners (aka Coal City Country Music Band) with members Doug (lead), Paul (bass), Ray (rhythm) and Kerry (drums). The Miners entertained us with their excellent playing and some stories from Doug of the early days of Australian rock'n'roll.

We enjoyed wonderful performances by Gerald, Peter and our new lady lead guitarist, Karlotta who all performed for us for the first time. Our regular players presented excellent performances and arrangements of a large variety of instrumental and vocal tunes and as an added bonus we were joined by Pieter Labrooy from Perth who gave superb renditions of The Breeze and I, Cavatina and Round and Round.

Below are some videos (in alphabetical order by column) from the afternoon and photos can be seen here.
